'A lot of my career was based on being in a bathing suit, running around on the beach, lip gloss and eyeliner and big hair,' the bombshell noted.
Still, the Baywatch beauty, who released her memoir Love, Pamela: Her New Memoir, Taking Control of Her Own Narrative for the First Time on Tuesday, insisted: 'I'm a lot more than that.'
Despite people fixating on her looks, Anderson made it clear that she is not scared of getting older as she is 'not chasing youth.'
'I think we're so much more beautiful the way that we are,' the Home Improvement star stated. 'No one wants to hear about natural beauty from me. But I'm not afraid of getting older.'

'It's like, I'm right here. Hello? I'm alive. Maybe you want to sit down and talk to me and find out more? But they didn't,' she alleged.
WSJ. Magazine noted that 'Hulu did reach out to her team, but the staff kept the inquiries from her because they perceived it to be a hurtful project.'

Anderson went on to discuss her love for Lee, who she says she loves 'in a way like' nobody else because they 'had children together' and 'dreams.'
'I think a lot of circumstances around us we just weren't mature enough to handle, so I feel like we let our kids down,' the model admitted. 'The more I think about it, the more I wish things were different, but they're just not and that's what it is.'
As for currently being single after filing for divorce from her fifth husband, bodyguard Dan Hayhurst last year, the performer said: 'We really need to learn how to be alone before we can be with somebody else.'
'No one else is responsible for your happiness but yourself,' Anderson concluded.
Speaking of her newly-released Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, she said: 'I could lose everything. I could gain everything. I just have no concept of what’s happening next.'
