A giant metal ball appeared on the morning of Tuesday, February 21, on the shore of a beach in the city of Hamamatsu, located in Shizuoka prefecture, in Japan.

The fact is baffling the country’s authorities, since its origin and how it got there is unknown. The huge ball measures at least 1.5 meters in diameter and is orange due to the presence of rust on its exterior.

According to local media, the sighting of this strange object was discovered by a man who was walking around the place and his wife was the one who alerted the police about “a large round object was thrown on the beach.”
Not knowing what it was about and Fearing a possible explosion, the area was completely isolated.. The security agents prohibited access to that area of the beach, cordoning off the area for about 200 meters around, they indicated from the channel Daiichi TV.

From The information isreported that the mysterious ball has two attachment points on opposite sides and could have landed from the sea or by air, as an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).
Thanks to the measures that were taken in time, it was possible to learn through the local media in the area that when scanning the ball with X-rays, they revealed that it was hollow inside, so that the danger of explosion could be ruled out.

Therefore, the restrictions were lifted around 4 in the afternoon, since they considered that the object did not pose any danger to people. Although the origin of it is still unknown, the local police asked the authorities to collect the ball from the beach.
